Obituary of Melanie Anne Seppeler
On Wednesday, January 16, Melanie Seppeler passed away at the age of 46 years, at Tuality Hospital, in Hillsboro Oregon.
Melanie was born on March 6, 1972, in Waialua, Hawaii to Leo and Kaye Bajo. Melanie graduated Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, with a degree in Art Studio. This is also where she met her husband Dave, and after graduating Humboldt State, Melanie and Dave were married in Eureka California, and then moved to Portland Oregon.
Melanie worked at the Lewis and Clark Law School Law Library until she had her beloved daughter, Sienna. Melanie was a devoted, stay at home Mom and was fortunate to join the Aloha Mom's Club, where she had the support of other new moms, and made many long lasting friendships.
Melanie was incredibly artistic and explored many different art forms. She ran a successful online Etsy shop, selling much of her beautiful jewelry and other art. Melanie enjoyed the beauty in nature, and she loved the Oregon coast, spending many vacations combing the beaches for agates and shells. Melanie loved all animals, and her dog, cats, and guinea pigs were very special to her.
Melanie is survived by her husband Dave and daughter Sienna; by her parents, Leo and Kay Bajo; sister Kathy; and brother Matt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, 3809 SE Tualatin Valley Hwy, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
