Madison C. Derrow was born January 27th, 1945 , in Seattle, WA. and was a life long resident of Portland, OR. He was the first born son of the late Joe Derrow and Beulah Mae Claverie. Madison is survived by his wife of 45 years, MonaLisa Derrow and from this union, their children: Maenette Derrow, Sweeta Derrow, and Hilson Derrow. Madison’s eldest daughter is Jerusalem Honeycutt and step-daughter is Bernadette Waters. In addition, Madison is survived by one sister, Carol Thomas, and one brother, Louis Claverie, and 10 grand-children.
Military Service:
Madison served our county in the United States Navy for 4 years in the Vietnam War.

National Defense Service Medal
He later was a journalist for the Oregonian and settled as a Multnomah County City Building Inspector for 20 years. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He enjoyed learning about the word of God and ministered to his family and others about God’s goodness and love.
He loved fishing and most importantly, spending time with his family.
He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
